“Creation is a better means of self-expression and possession; it is through creating, not possessing, that life is revealed.” – Vida D. Scudder, The Life of the Spirit in the Modern English Poets
This post is not about my travels, it´s not about me. As a matter of fact, the whole blog is not about me. It is about my connection with all of you – the people who brought me many smiles, and whose faces in my head I want to bring to all of the places I travel to.
Here, I want to tell you about a special project that I am proud to be part of. Under the leadership of Hung Thai, and in collaboration with more than fifty travelers from all over the world, we created “The Trip That Changed My Life” – not only a book but rather an eclectic compilation of over 50 travel stories, one of which will be mine. It tells stories from all over the world, stories that touched deeply those who experienced them and left a mark. My story will be about a meeting in Nepal that changed my perspective of how to deal with the big problems in the world.
All sales will be donated to charities Save the Children and Unbound. The project is running now on Indiegogo – the only place where you can buy the book. By getting more views, we will raise more funds to donate. In this way, just by few clicks you can indirectly cotribute to the donations. Here are the ways you can help us in an increasing order of importance:
- Join and share our Facebook page
- Join the project´s Thunderclap
- Share the Indiegogo link of the project and our video on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Back the project by purchasing a book on Indiegogo
The amazing idea was noticed by ReleaseWire which put the news about the book on their front page. More about it here.
